First time trying out this place. Food is good. Loved the sambal sotong rice. The sotong is so fresh. The noodle also was quite tasty. Will come again to try out their pastas.

Tried a few dishes from Take A Sip Cafe and here’s my honest review based on my RM40.20 meal: Buttermilk Chicken Rice – RM15.90 Comes with blue rice (colored naturally with butterfly pea flower) and a fried egg. The buttermilk sauce was creamy, flavorful, and not jelak at all. The only downside was the portion — just 8 small bites of chicken. A little more chicken and better plating would improve the overall experience. ⭐ 3.5/5 Onion Rings – RM8.90 Standard frozen onion rings, slightly overcooked. Not much to shout about. ⭐ 2/5 FP Chicken Slice Curry Mee (Yellow Mee) – RM13.90 This was the highlight! The curry broth was rich, aromatic, and really comforting. Good portion size for the price. The tauhu bok, chicken slices, and bean curd skin were satisfying, but what blew me away was the homemade fish paste — tender, smooth, not fishy at all — felt like eating dumplings! Just one suggestion: reduce the saltiness of the bean curd skin, as it made the broth a bit salty toward the end. ⭐ 4.5/5 – Would definitely recommend! Ice Water – RM1.50 Ambience & Service The place is chill, not crowded, and has a cozy, relaxed vibe — perfect if you want a quiet meal. It’s run by a family, and you can feel the warmth. Service is fast, and the place is clean. Overall, a hidden gem for comfort food lovers. Will definitely come back for the curry mee!

First time stepping into the cafe, tried their cendol which was really flavorful. The place is air conditioned so it is relaxing and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of suburban frenzy.

I think it is a new cafe serving fusion cuisine. Mainly the nasi and spaghetti with snacks menu. Also with extensive drinks menu. Food taste was good.
